In this project, we were tasked to create an animation based around a fable and/or made to feel like a fable. For this project, we worked in a group, with each of us having a role. I designed the Puppy and refined the design of the Squirrel (who another group member designed). Along with design, I animated (cleaned up, inbetweened, lined, coloured) several scenes; these specific scenes can be seen in my showreel on the home page!
The story for our collaborative film is based around fables where a character is misunderstood and seen as a horrible beast. A young lamb and his squirrel friend set off from their home in the barn into the woods, to see if the tale of the beast is true. However, they only find a small scared puppy. They rush back to the barn to inform everyone of the misunderstanding, they are all sorry that they thought the poor puppy was a horrible beast.
